Peace

When I hear the word peace the first thing that comes to mine is the symbol peace and freedom fighters, the many people that fight for there believes and there Right. Suing the 70s many people call the hippies, believe in peace they would also would also wear the peace symbol. The hippies were also freedom fighters they believe in no war or any violence. Not only the hippies but also people like Ross parks, Martin Luther king and others.

  1. Perfect, this is a great way to see Peace. Especially since the 70's was a time about peace. I agree, the hippies and people like Rosa Parks, and MLK fought for peace and the fact that kid like us can see tha, truly means there fights were worth it.

  2. Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. are perfect examples of what inner peace should be. They strived to make and share peace with others and not only with themselves; making a difference in the world and changing the American history to a more positive and inspired one that coming generations could learn from. It would be amazing that people from every age should act more like these incredible role models that at some points risked their life for their peace but most importantly for the peace of others.

  3. When the word Peace comes to mind, I think of exactly what you said, the Peace sign. And I absolutely love the 70's. I always say I wish I would have been born around that time.

  5. I agree with Ramirez because there are many activist that only wanted peace just like Rosa Parks she wanted peace with whites and other races. She believed in equality for Blacks just the same as Whites. There are many activist that we are studing for our research papers and we learn that those activist only want peace.

  6. Yes it very interesting to get to research activist that maybe we hadn't heard of or knew exactly what their dream was.. In the end all activist strive for peace and begin doing them in the smallest and seen actions and then soon enough they grow and start to do something for their community and the country,.,,,

  7. I like how you included peace activists at the end of your post. Because many people just think of peace as different things. But you hardly hear of people including peace activists as part of the word peace. The 70's did really seem like a peaceful time and I think that some people would wish thats how it would be today.
